This is a male Ground Hornbill. There was a birder in our group who was quite excited to see these - they are apparently pretty rare. We came across 2 male/female pair on this day.

Satisfied male. The night before this guy and his mate downed a Bushbuck about 50 yards from this spot. We'd heard of the kill and investigated it, then returned this morning to see if the lions were still around. They'd moved the buck to a more secluded spot under a tree, and consumed quite a bit more of it. The pair were lounging in the shade clearly satisfied with their kill.
